Los Angeles: Join us this Thursday, May 19 for a special panel honoring women in the music industry ahead of the 5th Annual Women Who Rock Benefit Concert, Presented by Gibson.
Hosted by Gibson at the Gibson Showroom in West Hollywood, the panel will be led by Melinda Colaizzi (Founder, Women Who Rock), and feature Qiana Conley (Executive Director, Recording Academy, Los Angeles), Elizabeth Heidt (Vice President Cultural Influence, Gibson Brands-Global), Mini Bear (Producer/DJ Vocalist and Chief Education Officer, FEMME HOUSE), and moderator Marisa Sullivan (People, US Weekly Journalistand Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor).
Topics include women in music, women’s health, and the under representation both face in the current cultural climate. The importance of women’s health research, being an advocate for your own health, and the impact it has on the lives of women around the world and more, will be discussed.

GRAMMY-nominatedmulti-platinum singer/songwriter, actress season six winner of American Idol Jordin Sparks will be the official emcee for the Women Who Rock Benefit Concert,. All proceeds from the benefit will support Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI)–the nation’s largest research institute dedicated only to vital and life-saving women’s health research.
